I consider it a responsibility to demonstrate the same authenticity I encourage my clients to embrace.  My tone is often candid and relaxed; I believe that therapy is most effective when it embodies both transparency and compassion.  Humor, sincerity, and openness are all elements of how I engage both in my everyday life and inside the therapeutic space.  

No matter what has brought you to consider therapy, it is my hope that you know you can get better.  Creating meaning, purpose, and fulfillment looks different for everyone- together we can identify opportunities to facilitate change where there are challenges.  With that said, exploring the possibility of therapy can be difficult and often overwhelming- I’m so grateful you have already made it this far!  I look forward to the chance to support you on this journey.


Hi there, I’m Jessica

It is my ongoing commitment to you to show up as engaged in our work as possible.  I care deeply about those I serve and regard it as a tremendous honor to accompany my clients on their journey.

I find that I am a good fit for clients looking for an interactive therapist.  While listening, validating, and witnessing are essential components of my style, I also remain dedicated to helping you to foster lasting changes in your life and relationships by showing up as an active collaborator.  I aim to create a sense of companionship for my clients. As an engaged and direct therapist, my intention is to assist you in recognizing solutions. By identifying opportunities to make choices which align with your therapeutic goals, you can feel seen and supported.

Attunement

Every person I support is unique, and I believe therapy should honor this individual complexity. As a therapist, I aim to be as attuned as possible to the needs of those I work with- therapy is not one size fits all!

By using an integrative method which draws from various evidence-based interventions, I am able to tailor my treatment approach to each client. By staying responsive to those I work with, clients can feel seen, understood, and empowered in pursuing their goals.

Compassion

Therapy may feel especially overwhelming for those who have struggled with feeling othered, criticized, or judged. Amidst the internal and external scrutiny we encounter in our lives, compassion emerges as a crucial element for healing.  

By embracing compassion, I hope to build a foundation of curiosity and understanding from which clients can navigate all challenges.  Therapy should feel like a safe environment to explore every aspect of our lives- I believe this begins with a compassionate stance towards ourselves and the difficulties we may confront.

Wisdom

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that each of us  possesses a unique set of inherent strengths. Many of us may find ourselves disconnected from this innate wisdom due to life experiences, relationships, or the choices we’ve made that haven’t served us. Other times, we are forced to use the resilient parts of ourselves in ways that do not feel fulfilling.  In such moments, it's common to overlook or underestimate the value of these intrinsic qualities.
